What does it mean City Ticket included?
The City-Ticket is inclusive for all our passengers who book a Sparpreis (saver fare) or Flexpreis (flexible fare) ticket on long distance services of over 100 kilometers. It can be used on suburban trains, subways, buses and trams in the respective area of validity.
What is the difference between LIRR and subway?
The Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) is faster. The LIRR trains are more frequent and more comfortable. You can see the LIRR platforms from the JFK AirTrain as everything is elevated however the subway is underground so the subway involves a bit more navigation (although it is all extremely well-marked).
